UI/UX design services, as an
engineering discipline, not decoration.
Product design, design systems, motion, accessibility, and research. Embedded with the engineers shipping the code. Design decisions that survive contact with production.
Design that reads production code, not just the Figma file.
Cloudini is a London-based software engineering company. We help clients build, modernise and maintain their software, with a named point of contact and delivery shaped around their needs.
We work across product design, design systems, motion, accessibility, and user research. On most engagements a designer sits inside the same pod as the engineers, ships into the same repo, and ends the sprint on the same Friday demo.
Shipped under this discipline.

FinanceWealthwise: Web3 platform.
A web app for on-chain finance, built with React, Django, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL and Web3. Wallet connection, contract calls and transaction state are wrapped in an interface that non-crypto users can operate with confidence.
React · Django · Node.js · Express
FinanceNexora: Investment platform.
A web app for investing & markets, built with React, Django, Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL. Watchlists, holdings and research sit behind one login, tuned to stay responsive when the market is open and traffic peaks.
React · Django · Django REST Framework · PostgreSQL
EducationMoneymaze: financial literacy for a credit union's members.
Learning comes from consequence rather than presentation: participants see how earlier decisions constrain later ones.
React Native · Django · Django REST Framework · Python
Retail · AfricaFrontir: emerging-markets research.
Research clients access representative panels in markets that were previously unreachable.
React · Redux · PHP · Slim
FinanceHydroca: Fintech platform.
A web app for payments & finance, built with React. Accounts, invoices and settlements reconcile against one ledger, so every balance can be explained and audited.
React
ManufacturingPixelkit: Operations platform.
A web and mobile app for operations, built with React Native and Django. Core workflows, records and reporting run through one validated data model that non-technical staff operate day to day.

Research, design systems, motion and accessibility.
A typical engagement combines two or three of these. For example, a design system plus product design plus accessibility. We scope the mix during discovery.
Product design and research.
Designs that ship as drawn, because design and engineering move together. User interviews, jobs-to-be-done, flow mapping, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready UI, shipped inside the same sprints as engineering rather than handed over a wall.
Design systems.
One source of truth your engineers actually use. Tokens, components, and documentation engineers can consume in React, SwiftUI, Compose, or whatever stack you're on, versioned, tested, and integrated into Storybook so design and code don't drift.
Motion and interaction.
Interactions that feel good on a cheap phone, not just in the demo. Micro-interactions, page transitions, loading states, and complex components designed in Figma, prototyped in Framer or Rive, and implemented in CSS, Framer Motion, or Lottie at a smooth 60fps on a three-year-old Android.
Accessibility audits and remediation.
Meet WCAG and widen your market, with fixes that actually land. WCAG 2.2 AA audits, manual screen-reader testing, keyboard-navigation sweeps, and the remediation work to close the gaps, done by a designer and engineer together rather than a plugin.
User research and usability.
Decisions backed by what users do, not what the room assumes. Qualitative and quantitative research, interviews, diary studies, moderated and unmoderated usability tests, analytics instrumentation, and insight synthesis you can act on.
Design ops and tooling.
Let design and engineering move at the same speed. Figma libraries, variable systems, developer-handoff workflows, and the design-to-code pipeline that keeps both teams in sync.

The same UI / UX design work ships under any of these three commercial shapes. The difference is in how you hold us accountable and how you scale up or down.
Design for AI features.
Interfaces where people can see what the AI did, correct it and stay in control: citations, confidence cues, review steps and a clear handover to a person.

We're an engineering firm with an embedded design practice, not the other way round. Our designers work inside the same pods as the engineers shipping the code. Design decisions get made with full knowledge of the technical constraints and get implemented without a hand-off wall.
Yes. Most engagements extend a client's existing design system rather than replace it. We audit what's there, close the gaps, and contribute components back into your library so your in-house design team inherits better tooling, not parallel tooling.
Handoff is a workflow, not a moment. Designers commit to Figma variables and tokens that map directly to the code tokens. Engineers pair on the implementation. The reviewed component lands in Storybook before it ships to production. The design file and the code stay in sync because they reference the same source.
Yes. Research sits inside engagements rather than as a separate sales line. We run interviews, usability tests, diary studies, and analytics-driven research, and we synthesise findings into decisions the team can act on the next sprint. Research that doesn't change a roadmap is theatre.
Yes. We audit against WCAG 2.2 AA (or AAA where required), produce a prioritised gap report, and do the remediation work ourselves. Design changes, engineering changes, and content changes together. We also train your team so new features don't regress the baseline.
Yes. Design can be bought as a standalone engagement, though most of our clients eventually bundle it with engineering because that's where we earn our keep. A design-only engagement typically runs one to three designers for a fixed scope.
We are a mental health charity and not tech-minded. We needed to improve our patient registration system but wanted a company that we can relate to. Hassan took the time to meet with me and patiently went through our process to find a personalised solution for us. Hassan's team did a great job streamlining our process and connected our registration system to our patient management software. Whenever we have a glitch, they resolve this quickly.
Let's build from here.
Thirty minutes with an engineer who builds. No sales, no drip campaign. If we're the wrong fit we'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
