Trackwell: a shared CRM in place of private inboxes.
A web app for customer relationships, built with React, Django, Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL. Every account, conversation and next step lives in one place, so the team sells from shared context instead of private inboxes.
The challenge.
- Client relationships lived in inboxes and spreadsheets, so no one could see the full history of an account.
- The team needed to know who owned a client, what was said and what was due next.
- Handovers lost context every time a rep changed.
- Reporting had to show pipeline health without reps filling in spreadsheets on a Friday.
Our approach.
- Built a React interface around accounts, contacts and activity timelines.
- Backed it with Django and Django REST Framework so every call, note and stage change is stored against the client.
- Added assignment and reminders so nothing falls between reps.
- Surfaced a pipeline view of where each relationship stands.
- Derived pipeline reporting from activity data reps already log, so no duplicate entry.
The outcome.
- Every client interaction is logged against one record instead of scattered inboxes.
- Reps pick up an account and see its full history immediately.
- Managers see the pipeline without chasing status updates.
- Pipeline reviews run off live data instead of Friday-afternoon spreadsheet updates.

Still wondering something? Ask an engineer
Trackwell stored each call, note, owner and stage change against one customer record, allowing a new representative to see the full account history without reconstructing it from private inboxes.
Its pipeline view derives reporting from the account activity representatives already record, so managers see current ownership and next steps without asking the team to maintain a separate spreadsheet.
